AbstrakAbstrak The purposes of conducting this study are to describe the implementation of crossword puzzles with the vocabulary learning procces. English lesson can be very boring for the students. It is because most of teacher are still using the old method in teaching english.the students interest in English influences the teaching learning proccees. The alternative way in teaching vocabulary is through crossword puzzles. The researcher believes that crossword puzzles can be good medium to avoid students boredom. By using crossword puzzle in teaching english, it will make the the students feel happy and motivated.meanwhile using crossword puzzles ass the medium in teaching vocabulary can provide meaningful context, that can introduce to the new vocabulary to the students easily.In this case the writter use the qualitative method. In the meeting the students were given a crossword puzzles test to analyze the students vocabulary level. After the test, the researcher gives each team a questionnaire to make a response from the students about teaching vocabulary in crossword puzzles. Key Words : Crossword Puzzles, Teaching Vocabulary
