AbstrakAbstract This study intends to analyze Listening comprehension is considered as an active process in which individuals change words to thought to create meaning from the passage. In this research, the writer took the one of aspect those was listening ability by using audio recorder. This research is descriptive qualitative. This research did in the 2014/2015 academic year at Dharma Wanita 7 Tanggulangin Junior High School which was consisted of 30 students. As the one of data analysis technique, the assignment given to the students to analyze the ability of the students as the result from the using of audio recorder. The data analysis from those assignment got by using the formula which was the number of the students answer divided with the total of the questions multiple one hundred percent. Based on the result from the third meeting, there were significance difference in students achievement in using audio recorder from the first meeting until the third meeting. The writer assumed that the using of audio recorder in teaching learning process, especially in listening, is the one of alternative media because it is considered effectively could increase the achievement of the students. It meant that the using of audio recorder as the one of effectively media in listening activity. Keywords: Teaching English, Listening Skill, Audio Recorder Media
